Dr. Jeffery Yunker has been elected to serve as President of the North Dakota State Board of Optometry. The North Dakota State Board of Optometry serves to protect the health, welfare and safety of the citizens of this state. Dr. Yunker was first appointed to the state board by Governor John Hoeven in 2005. Dr. Yunker is the owner of Lifetime Vision Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Dr. Jeffery Yunker was re-appointed by Governor John Hoeven to serve as Vice President of the North Dakota State Board of Optometry for the 2010-2011 term. Dr. Yunker was first appointed to the NDOA by Governor John Hoeven in 2005. http://www.ndsbopt.org/
Dr. Yunker and staff recently attended the 20th anniversary celebration of International Vision Expo West held in Las Vegas October 3-5, 2008. Over 15,000 attendees and 500 exhibitors from over 100 countries were at the convention . International Vision Expo West has grown to become an icon in the eye care industry offering a wealth of information on innovative products, technology and the latest eye wear fashions.
